The building is crossed by an ancient bridge, rebuilt in the eighteenth century, which allows the crossing of Gromolo river.
The bridge has a lowered span, finished with a brick ring and ends, on the right bank, in a vaulted passage, connected to the building.
The type of construction of the bridge appears to be medieval, and the existence of an older artefact can not be excluded, but later rearrangements are evident, such as for example the central shrine and the inscription connected to it.
